After being reminded about the program Terragen recently, I’ve found myself getting a little addicted to it. The image above is one of my favourites thus far, Auralia. If you click on it, you can see a larger version.

It takes me ages to get that sand-under-the-water look right, even with Terragen.
The sand is my favourite bit! I’m going to try and add more detail in photoshop. Maybe a few fish or some aquatic plants.
Ahhh reminds me about the many, many, many did I say many hours playing and waiting for things to render.
That white sand almost looks more like snow than actual beach type sand.
It is snow, actually. I tried the sandy texture but didn’t like how it rendered! Do you still use terragen?
Just can’t seem to believe that it’s not real.
